I got it from COMPUSSR in BF. But I still cannot find where is the serial number. I tried the number on the proof of purchase, the number on the back of card 19 digits above made in china, 20 digits under made in china .

But no luck here, I keep getting invaild serial number msg in PNY web registration page. I really want the 3 year warranty. Anyone who successfully registered the PNY products please help me.

Thanks a lot

There is a small sticker on the back of the card, toward the bottom. It should have this number on it, which is the model number:

VCG6800APB

Above that number should be a very long sequence of numbers and letters. Mine starts out P212... It is 22 characters in length (not including spaces) and has spaces in it. When I registered the product I typed in the entire thing with no spaces and it worked perfectly fine.

Did any of you guys also have a loose transistor? I'm wondering if that will affect the performance, or if it's just a common occurrence for all PNY 6800's...

It's a capacitor, and many people have reported it. Supposedly it's not important for functionality and the card will work without it, but if you did get a bad card most people recommend returning it anyway.
