Where is the outrage from the Red Sox fans?

Last night Dustin Pedroia tried to knock the ball out the first basemans glove. This is the same thing that Arod did during the 04 ALCS disaster. However Red Sox fans and the media portrayed it as cheating and made a HUGE deal about it for months.

Now the same thing is done by a sox player but no one here seems to be complaining? Here is the link.

I'm a Yankees fan living in the Boston area. This morning I tried to make the point to some Sox fans that Pedroia did the same thing A-Rod did. They would hear nothing of it. Apparently "Dusty" was just being a gritty player.

You can bet that if A-Rod did that again it would have led off Sportscenter for the next two days.
