Maybe its just me, but I haven't heard much from McCains dear pal and Democratic turncoat Joe Lieberman.

I only seem to remember seeing him once since Joe went to the Republican convention. Is Lieberman campaigning for McCain? Does anyone know what Joe said about the Palin pick?

Has anyone seen the real Joe?

Hopefully packing and have tickets for another country suited to him picked out to live in.

Joe Lieberman's days in the political limelight are now over. No one will ever take him seriously anymore, so who cares what he does? And to add injury to insult, he insults democrats and republicans alike and will therefore find no welcome in either camp. Maybe President Obama will find Lieberman some nice cushy sinecure, get him to resign his Senate seat, and then the Governor of Connecticut can appoint a real replacement rather than leaving the State under represented until 2012.

Ambassador to Israel might be enough to get Lieberman out of the Senate.

He has stated that palin would be a great president when she is ready. (In other words, she ain't ready and may never be capable.) But fortunately, he's consulted doctors who have guaranteed that mccain will live to at least 85. (not making this up, it can be found with minimal searching)

You aren't as sensitive to Lieberman as me-he's like a red flag to a bull for me. He's constantly at rallies for Palin and/or McCain, but rarely speaks these days.

A few days ago he gave an interview where he basically said Obama would be a good president. I think he's trying to weasel back into the party's good graces.

BTW, there was serious talk among the CT Democratic party of some sort of censure action against him, but it was ultimately abandoned as being unproductive.

You can be guaranteed this is his last term from CT-at least on the Democratic ticket.

I can see your point. But lieberman has been a bushie since 2002, so, it's not a leap that he would go along with mccain. Still, it's disappointing. He has an agenda that I can't figure out yet.

How I am hoping for 61. So Joe can be so completely excommunicated he will want to resign.

Joe is always getting his way here in CT, my wife vote for him because he gets connections in Washington for federal contracts in the state. I think Joe will come again with the republican and the independent vote.

Let's face it, Lieberman's Nancy-like near-lisp, "Mr. Rodgers' out-of-the-closet brother" delivery is not suited to the bitter-end true believer, Fear De Magick Negro demographic that are still showing up @ McCain/Palin rallies.

Did you know he's . . . Semetic? ;)
