Where is the log In XP when I run a full HD scandisk?

When I run Error checking on my boot drive in WinXP Pro SP1 and check off "automatically fix file system errors" and "scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors" of course I need to reboot for this to be performed. I do not have the time to sit there and watch what shows on the screen when the reboot and full scan runs. My boot drive is 250gb. Where does Winxp store the results of the full scandisk? there must be some Log on the system to show the results. Thanks in advance.
