Where is the DVD+RW DL media?

I never did get an exact answer to this.

That states incompatibility with existing player, which does somewhat explain things IMO...

Related question: Where is the 8x DVD+RW media? The only such discs I can find are expensive spindles from the dubious brand-names Ridata and Ritek, sold by even more dubious retailers. Mainstream stores like CompUSA, Best Buy and Circuit City have no faster than 4x.

Yeah, sounds like the DVD Alliance really screwed the pooch here.
