Where is the cheapest place to get Office 2010 (Student)

I've gotten pretty far with open office but I definitely need Excel 2010. I'm a student but Office costs 80 bucks at the store 🙁 There are a lot of packages on ebay but I can't tell if they're trustworthy or "upgrades." Basically I need just the full Excel 2010 for school and spend less than 80 bucks!

Pay the 80 - it will benefit you in the end.

If you do not need all the features, determine what is it in 2010 that you need that does not exist in the older versions.

Wow... I was going to suggest Microsoft's "Ultimate Steal" thinking that it was a different offer than the one linked above. Following the link from my email it seems that the price for Office '10 has been raised from $80 to $100... ick 🙁 looks like they keep raising it by $20. I remember i got Office '07 for $60 too >.>

Also, check if your school has access to the MSDN academic alliance (though most likely they wont offer the MS Office Suite). It's worth a shot.

see if your school has MSDNAA. I got my copy for $2.99 and that was the shipping fee for the CD.

It looks like I do...but what am I looking at? Windows 7 free download, 25 dollar mail order. That can't be correct. What is this thing??

Keep in mind that the office2010 student version is essentially the pro version. You get 1 license with that (and maybe a "portable one too, i.e. laptop).

The "home and office" version allows three installs in the same household. This may be a better deal than the student version.

My point, check the license terms and consider the home and student version is 3 licenses is better.
