Where is the best place to tape thermal sensors?

I am connecting my DigiDoc5 and i'm a little confused as to where exactly to put the thermal sensors. I have 1.8A Pentium on Abit ThII , Radeon 8500 and Audigy soundcard. Should i place the sensors on the chip? on the boards? Where is the best place to tape it on the motherboard...?

You could place one sensor besides the CPU core and another one besides either the vcard's GPU or memory. You might use tape to attack the sensors. Make sure that it doesn't interferes with anything (fans, HS, etc.).

i would put one on the northbridge as well

maybe even ram (if u oc)
