I just got selected to purchase some tickets for the World Series. It's not guaranteed, but in case I can score some tickets, then where would be the best place to sit?

Here is the link to Tropicana Field's seating chart: Link

I've never been to a baseball game, but I figured I'd check it out since it's the first time that the Rays are in the World Series.

Mid level or upper deck behind home plate or around the infield is the best place to actually watch a game. You've NEVER been to a baseball game and decided to start with the World Series?

Is this on Pay-per-view or did one of the major networks fork over a billion dollars for the privledge of hosting it?

Either way I recommend viewing it from a genuine La-Z-Boy with a load of pizza and beer.

No kids screaming in your ear. Clean bathroom (or as clean as you keep it, which is probably better than any stadium) and if you have Tivo or something similar you can enjoy the best plays at your convenience.

Also, most importantly, you can get naked and scratch as much as you want.

I've been to baseball games, but not an MLB game. I just wanted to experience it, and the best way to do it would be this time around.

This or anywhere around or behind home plate or more generally anywhere where you would see the ball hit away from you rather than towards you. ;)

Behind the dugout a few rows back I still think are some of the best seats - but depends on your stadium. Gets you close to the action!

The experience in the park is nowhere near like just sitting at home watching it on TV. Soooooo much better in the park.

Pay-per-view World Series would be an enormous flop. I'm not sure what would even put the idea in your head that it would be possible.

World Series is ALWAYS broadcast on a major network...Usually Cable isn't even required...just an Antenna

I've never watched any sports event on TV in my entire life.
I stopped watching TV in 1997.
