I am going to be purchasing an HDTV within the next 6 months, and I was just wondering WHERE is the best place to actually go and see what they look like in person?
Sears has a ton of them set up, but half of them don't even have HD signals running through them(their Mitsubishi sets look like CRAP!), and god knows what sort of calibration has been done to them. Same with CC. I would have a hard time dropping 2k on a TV that I can't see what it's true potential is in real life. The $1400 Samsung TV at Sears looks about 50x better than their most expensive Mitsubishi, because of the difference in signal. Why do they do this?
Where can I go to see a real idea of what they will look like when I bring one home?
