I saved like $100 for 4 tires at Costco versus NTB. I am sure Sams Club might sell tires too if you have on near by.

Shop around, most places pricematch. I like discount tire, they have always had good service and good prices.

Go to a wrecker and buy some used tires. Way cheaper than new, and you can even get ones that are LIKE new.

yoyo25 is on the right track. I'd hate to have tires mounted at Sam's Club, but you can use them to match prices. Get an 'out the door' price from them for a set of decent tires. That's mounted, balanced, new stems and junking your old tires. You don't even have to join to have them quote you a price. Take that quote to a decent tire center, like NTB, and have them match it. I was once able to get NTB to match Sam's Club price and still throw in the free battery that was part of their own promotion.

Just Tires is a fine place for tires IMO.

Although I may be biased, as I know the manager of a nearby one who allows me to price-match. I haven't needed to yet, though. I always take full advantage of the alignment warranties as well. Damn sneaky curbs.... they MOVE I tells ya, they MOVE! :D :)

Exactly, shop around and use the pricematching. Where I live, there is an NTB, Sears Tire (ironically, as Sears owns NTB), Goodyear Tire, Just Tires (owned by Goodyear), STS Tire & Auto, and a Bridgestone/Firestone Tire Center all within 2 miles of each other. I bought tires for my truck last year. I got a price from each place, took the lowest one back to NTB and they beat it.

I did the same thing when I bought new tires for my grandmother's Saturn.

Office Depot, but try TJ Max is it's closeby.
;)

Tirerack is a good place to buy, they do have a fair bit of stuff!

I have had the cooper trendsetters on my car, and they're pretty decent, but when I had the Yokohama LS4's, oh man, it was a limo-like ride, but AWESOME grip. I loved the braking performance, really grippy, plus they go up in smoke nicely (unlike the coopers ;))

If in the St. Louis Missouri you might try 'Dobbs.'

I was looking for tires for my old Mitsubishi van recently and stumbled in there. Tried Sears, Firestone, NTB, Autotire and a few independents.

I've had experience with NTB and Autotire. Their prices tend to be the best, but everytime I go to either they try to sell me various suspension components.

I was expecting the same at Dobbs, but they had the tires and an appointment that fit. I was pleasantly surprised! They even straightened out the steering wheel that had been put off center by the last alignment, where I was told I had a bad tie rod end.

Get an alignment as well as tires btw.
