My girlfriend wants to go to a Kenny Chesney concert in Cuyahoga Falls, OH(thats near cleveland) in July. I would like to take her to this as a birthday present. I checked ticketmaster, and they start selling tickets on the 26th at 12:00PM. But then i checked out this link to the venue, and they say tickets go on sale the 26th at 9:00AM, does that mean i can buy them through that site? And are there any other good suggestions on where to look? Thanks

Chances are you will be able to purchase them through the link on the website you posted at 9AM tomorrow, but that it will still be through Ticketmaster.

Direct means the box office - there are never any 'convenience fees' when you actually go to the venue to buy 'em. Also, Blossom is a sweet place - I heard the Cleveland Orchestra play there on July 4 about 8 years ago. Good stuff.

drive to the venue!

Thats not a very likely option, as I live in Columbus and it would likely be a few hour drive.

That link from the venue goes to Ticketmaster anyway. The new online ticketing system is really smooth now. If you don't want to go that route just goto a Ticketmaster outlet and wait in line. The trick is to find a ticketmaster outlet in an area where there won't be any interest in this show. Then there won't be any line and you'll be first in line. I do that all the time. However, I don't know how popular this show is so it all depends.

One more question, the venue in question(blossom music center) is an outdoor facility, do they offer refunds if the event is rained out?

Well my main concern is getting a good seat, 2 of them together actually. It is my girlfriends first concert, not to mention a birthday present, and I don't want her to be dissappointed. So I am basically just wondering what would be the best way to get good seats, I am willing to pay an extra 5-10.00 bucks just for better seats. But there are so many options, ticketmaster outlet, ticketmaster online, the venue online, the venue box office. Which one of those gives me the best chances of getting a good seat? I know ticketmaster online already started selling the tickets to kenny chesney fan club members, plus I can imagine, radio stations and other things like that prolly get shots at tickets before us regular folk. So i just want good seats.
