Well, it partly depends on which motherboard you are interested in buying, so give us some more specific info on your wants.

Yep really does depend on what kind of board you're looking at.

TC Computers is definately NOT the best place, despite what they say and brag all over thier site about.

you can buy a couple boards at onvia. They are really cheap if onvia happens to carry the one you want

Onvia doesn't carry a huge selection.

MWave usually has a good selection. Their prices aren't quite as low as Onvia (mainly 'cause MWave charges for shipping), but if you order a bundle (mobo+CPU), you can usually save $10-15 with their bundle prices.

[l]www.isquaredinc.com[/l] I recommend this place but you are asking a very vague question, I've always bought my motherboards from them and have nothing but excellent words to say about them. One other place, which could definitely be called the best is [l]www.compucheap.com[/l]

Well sh!t, the links aren't working.

Hey Spencer,

You having trouble with the new URL/link system too? I keep messing it up also. And it won't accept doing it manually. :|

BTW, I agree, ISquared is also a decent shop.

Rambler,

Ya, I don't know why it won't work. I can tell the forums are different, but why aren't the links working?

You don't use the [l]...[/l] for linking anymore. Instead, when you post a Reply, click on the icon in the Reply window that is labeled http and looks like a chain link. There are two versions, the 2nd is for secure links. I'm having problems with spacing, and also with trying to insert a link. Seems to always put it at the end, no matter where I have the cursor located. So I just end up doing a cut-N-paste to move the created link to where I want it in the message body.

I guess we're gonna have to break down and read the "how-to manual" for these Forums.

I might have drank a few beers tonight, but I'm not that drunk and I know that the link in my last post was linkified and your (Midnight Rambler) post was linkified and it said "text" but now it's not. What the Heck is goin on?

Confusing as heck ain't it ... <img src=&quot;i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif&quot;border=0>

First you enter the link location, then you enter the text for the link's description/name.

Plus, I think we're logged in while they are in the midst of the overhaul. Smileys, etc., are changing right and left. Time to give it a rest.

I didn't know they was in the midst of an overhaul. I couldn't log in damn near all day yesterday(for over 15 hours) and then the forums have all these new features and now nothing works right. Hopefully it'll be back to normal tomorrow (later today actually).

Sorry for being sooooo unclear. I unfortunately have a stupid oem hp pavilion that has a cleron 433, socket 370. I'm not quite sure if i need micro atx or regular atx or if both will work. if anyone knows that a pavilion can use atx please tell me. And i know that it's harder to find micro atx than others. I need a new one and was wondering where would be the best place to look. I will definiately check out the ones that were recomended. Thanks guys.

A few i like axiontech. onvia. return policies are great[really have done superb for me on a few RMA's]

most of the others are about the same as far as i am concerned. buy.com etc etc

If----you could find a coupon or a good price most will do fine, as said earlier check their ratings
