Where is the article showing Dual XP vs Dual MP?

Anybody know where (webpage/url) the article is on running athlon xp's in dual config against the MP's in dual config? I saw this somewhere and the difference was almost negligible. I need to find this article again please help.

TIA

I looked for it , but I didn't see it anywhere , Hmm.
Anyway, there shouldn't be any difference at all between a Dual XP versus Dual MP if they are running clock for clock.

The new chipset from AMD will not support XP CPU's now, so keep that in mind.

<< MPX motherboards are not allowing XP processors to run on these systems as the motherboard identifies the processor as an XP and not MP. >>

So... basically they are exactly the same chip but they just want to charge people more if they want to run dual? That seems ridiculous to make it like that. I remember reading the article and the difference was about 1% - if even that much.

The 760MPX is now apparently supporting XPs in a dual config. There were some beta BIOSes out there for the new mobos (Asus, in particular, I believe) that prevented the use of two XPs. All seems to be well now.

Too bad I just purchased on AMD 1600+ MP based on the early rumors. :/ Bittersweet, I suppose.

And to answer the original question, Ace's Hardware has done some nice roundups up dual-CPU configs and I think there is a link in this week's "AnandTech News" comparing such systems. Is that the one with the forbidden link?

SUOrangeman,
Where did you get the information that they were now supporting XP CPU's? I would like to read about it.
Thanks SilverBack

ReMeDy can probably answer that question a little better. I was scouring the forums over at 2cpu.com, which was the first report I read of XP chips not working on the new 760MPX-based Asus.
