When will the gt and vanilla versons of the 7800 come out? Are they coming soon? Please link me to a thread if this is a repost. (I searched and saw nothing)

No one knows for sure, probably not even nVidia at this point. I'd suspect around the same time as the R520 comes out (which even ATi isn't sure about 😉).

Best guess? October-ish.
 
Last time 6800 Ultra launch at end April and GT at end June.

But rumor maybe GTX is GT and Ultra come later. Nobody really know, just read inquirer rumors.
 
my guess. gtx is the low. then gt. it will have 512 megs and MAYBE 32 pipes. ultra will have 512 and should have 32 pipes 🙂.
 
I'm hoping the better versions of the 7800 comes out in time for me to take advantage of eVGA's "trade up" deal
 
I think right now the 6800GT's and 6800u's have the mid-high range covered and the 6600GT's have the mid range covered so NVIDIA has no need to release anything else. When ATI comes out with something new I think we will see a broader line from the 7xxx series, including something even faster.
