Last year Panasonic made a gamecube DVD player combo box that was pretty damn cool. Google-ing it reveals plenty of press, but nothing in the US...

Anyone have any info on this box and its future?
 
I don't think they have any plans to release it state side. Its considered to be a niche product in Japan and it would be even more of one product here.
