so its the easter holidays for me right now, and ive been chillin watchin american chopper, american hotrod, and overhaulin

if you've not seen them, american chopper and its 4 wheeled brother american hotrod are basically the same. orange county choppers build bikes, boyd coddington builds hot rods.

overhaulin is like pimp my ride only 1000000x better chip foose and street concepts make some real ace cars for people that deserve it, and so far i havent seen them touch a ricer.

i thought orange county was in california, but then on american chopper today the work shops were covered in snow.

then on overhaulin, they also mention they are in orange county, and its blazing hot.

i dont know where american hotrod is filmed.

it doesnt snow in california does it?

It does not snow in The OC. What the hell. Since when does it even rain? Ok well it rained last week I was there actually.

It's south of LA btw. Places like Laguna Beach, Irvine, etc..

It's like the less ghetto area.. like Santa Clara County is to SF/Alameda Counties.
 
there is an orange county in CA and one in New York

and probably one in FL and many other states

the Tuttles (sp?) of American Chopper are from NY, where it snows

its always interesting when it snows in places it normally doesnt. I remember when it snowed 14 inches in San Antonio, the entire city shut down, no snow plows lol.

it snowed 1/2" in Dallas on New Years Day 2001...shut the entire city down

so i take it alot of states have an orange county? gets abit confusing when people are just sayin "orange county" this and orange county that....

Just like a lot of states have a Springfield.
 
The famous Orange County - the one the TV show is based on, is near Los Angeles in California. American Chopper is based in New York State in a lesser-known Orange County.
