As ShotgunSteve noticed, it's gone!! :|:|:|:| Did anyone happen to save it, or does anyone have it sitting in their cache? I just need the HTML code..

Sukhoi, this is the shortcut I had: http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cfm?catid=39&threadid=520493 but it returns an error message now. They (the forum admins) must have archived it or something. I remember my original recruiting thread from a couple of months ago was about to become deleted as Assimilator1 warned me and I created a new thread so it would stay alive.

Can a Moderator help us with the recovery of Sukhoi's Help Thread? We really need it to help out our new SETI members.

OK, I'm getting "The page cannot be displayed". Maybe everyone is looking and you are overloaded. ;)

I see a bunch of :D:D:D, so I guess Sukhoi's Help Page is saved? I haven't been able to get to the provided links. :(

Question remains, WTH happened to the thread? Can't believe it was a size issue, OT folks frequently have 300 post threads on the best way to remove belly button lint, and this thread was an important recruting/How-To resource.....:|

I'm running Win 2000pro, so connects are supposed to be limited to ten, but PWM says "Most concurrent connections:15" go figure :)

Gotta be careful with the neffing, I'm closing in on a Blessed Event and I don't want to taint the achievement! ;)

BTW, I posted in Forum Issues to see what happened....

JimMc, LOL :D

I was writing that "Is this what you all call NEFFING?" as my third post in a row. I was :p at myself. If you go look, you will see we posted at the same time. I didn't see your post until after I sent mine. LOL :D

The thread seems to have vanished to the mystery thread land. Heck, the subscription doesn't even show up on the today page anymore. I know of several other large important threads that have vanished without a trace. I'm surprised Zuni doesn't seem to be taking a closer look at this kind of stuff. Database files shouldn't just vanish. :)

The original Dave McOwen thread disappeared in this manner as well, I think it had something to do with automatic archiving after a certain time period (45 days I think it was), although I could be wrong.

Always seems to happen to good threads. Same thing happened to the Gateway 6400 server steup an tweak thread. Gone without a trace. Mods had no idea. Could be the new board software, but thats just speculation.

Threads older than 45 days are supposed to be archived ,not deleted. But many threads have vanished :| ,your old 'inactive members' thread being 1 example.Especially annoying as that had lots of useful info in it.
Though I noticed my old 'Volunteer' thread of the same time is still accessable:confused:
Also missing is DF's confession thread
