Where is my Brood War CD key?

But where does one find Brood War's CD key? The original is on the manual, the expansion is not, and I lost the CD for BW. Hopefully it's not on the BW CD...

It's odd that it doesn't require a key for some of you guys. They must have changed it over time, because it's the same as Anubis for me.

But I would like pics from both you and Anubis of your Brood War case with these supposed "keys".
You can use a basic photo editor to pixelate them or cover them up, but I want to see the green Brood War pic with at least one letter or number.

I suspect both of you guys didnt actually check and are just remembering it that way.

maybe blizzard added keys to later productions of brood war?

i think i purchased mine fairly recently after it was released.

No. Broodwar never had, and still doesn't have a key. It is an expansion and uses the original starcraft key for online purposes.

 

[Alone]

Diablo II has a key for regular and expansion, but Starcraft and Broodwar share the same key.

Just did a check and yeah, you're right. I got the original and expansion CD-keys confused.
