Where is Media Player on the Win98 CD?

HI,

I can't seem to find the darn thing. I need to install JUST Media Player 6 on my old Toshiba laptop. I don't want to mess with that bloated piece of software that Media Player 7 is... And since I have a Win98 CD (the laptop runs Win95, by the way), I thought that I can install the program from the CD.

So, does anyone know where Media Player is on the Win 98 CD? I tried to search for "mplayer.exe", but came out with nothing.

Any ideas?

By the way, would Media Player 6 work with Win95?

It's in one of the .cab files, don't know which one, but you can use Winzip to look in them to find it...

You can download it from here or try put in the cd, choose add/remove software from cd, select multimedia and then details. Put a check in the media player box and try to install from there. Media player 6.4 is for Win95. I think the mplayer file is in one cab but the help is in another cab. Here's some additional help.
