Where is homekit?

I've been googling but I can't seem to find any information or updates on homekit. Is anyone working on any interesting projects? I'm hopefully looking for one day to be able to say, hey Siri turn on the lights and have my hue lights turn on. Or hey Siri turn up the heat and have it turn up my nest thermostat. Anyone know anything about this?
