Where is home security

there is no forum in home security unless i missed it,i need help with home security,my new home has been prewired for an alarm,all the panels are in the wall with three wallpads and all the windows have magnetic tape or something.there is also smoke sensors,gas sensors etc.
So can I call any alarm dealer like adt simple safe or anyone i want.can someone point me in the right direction.

Just about any existing vendor will come out and reactivate it for you for little cost. They'll try throwing in all the bells and whistles of course.
