In the UK DABS.com are cheap and have free delivery, I have just ordered 2 sticks of 256Mb.

I went for them over the crucial site as iam getting all the other bits from there and I'am familiar with their RMA policy THANKS ASUS.

OK, hopefully this question will not reveal a painfully obvious answer. Which 256MB stick of Crucial PC2100 DDR is best for overclocking the fsb? Unbufferred or registered? Non-parity or ECC?

Does your mobo take Unbuffered or registered? if you dont know, its prolly Unbuffered.

Does your mobo take ECC DDR or not? If so, ECC will be like .00001% less likely to crash, but non-par will OC andpreform much better.

Thanks TunaBoo. I was hoping to get some type of concensus on this before I make this investment. Can anyone second TunaBoo's motion?

are you planning on build a new amd system? because if not you will not be able to use ddr ram because it is 184 pin not 168 like regular sdram

I'm ditching my A7V133. Way too unstable. It's been a nightmare. So yes, I am looking to purchase a new motherboard and am thinking about going with a DDR platform for my Axia T'Bird.

Atlantean: Thanks for the link! I am thinking about the Epox 8k7a. I'm not a big Asus fan at the moment.
