Where is Elsa.com??

At least nVidia stole some of Elsa's design team which bodes well for the Quadro series, as Elsa had a huge hand in developing the drivers for the Quadro.

Just for the record, they went belly up because the banks pulled the plug - they had more than enough bookings, but the banks wouldn't finance actually producing these large quantities. Gotta love running a growing business in Germany.

Well I just read a review of an Elsa GF4 Ti4600 & according toReviewmakers here ,

Many people thought that Elsa has folded up for good. So before our readers thought I was playing with a freak card, our editors think it is best we get this straight right at the begining of the review.

The only problem with Elsa lies in their German office. It is only their German office that has folded for good. Elsa Asia is totally unaffected by their German counterpart and is still strong and kicking as much as ever.

... only that ELSA is and ever has been a German manufacturer. The Asia office might not have shut down yet, but the core company is definitely dead.

regards, Peter

It does say,

?The availability and after service of the new series (Gladiac, Gloria4, and Synergy4) will not be affected by ELSA Germany current financial situation. The users will be able to buy the newest products from ELSA authorized partners in Asia and enjoy the direct support from ELSA Asia Inc. as usual.? ...Mr. Frank Chang, VP for Sales and Marketing, Elsa Asia.

So take that for what it`s worth,Peter you`re probably right we don`t know how long ELSA Asia will be running for, lets hope something good happens.

🙂

I saw this coming when they stopped making cards for gaming. It's a shame. I have owned to Elsa cards and have nothing but success with them.
