I hate to admit it but I miss Deeko's NFL prediction thread this year. It was always comical that he didn't do the math to make wins and losses even out, and the discussion was always so colorful and a great read.

You mean his precious feelings got hurt? Tough shit. That's what football argumen... er... discussions are about. Trash talk.

Maybe he decided not to do it as its OBVIOUS that The Packers are going to win it all this year. What fun is it prediciting who comes in 2nd place?

Also, Joemonkey shouldn't you be busy packing up your desk?

Words cannot describe how much I miss the annual "Cowboys are going to win it all" thread.

Already packed up before I put in my notice. I was hoping they'd say "thanks for the notice now get out" but they're actually having me work these last 2 weeks!

and by work I mean "work"

Well, the probably figure they should get SOME use out of you before you go.... but what you're saying is there is an opening there for me....

Come on meow, you know I wouldn't let you down.

PS Kev, as I pointed out in the thread, I have only ever picked Dallas to win the Superbowl once.

I was obviously using hyperbole to demonstrate your obvious lack of an unbiased opinion. I searched the old threads:

2006: Cowboys lose in the superbowl
2007: Cowboys lose in the superbowl
2008: Cowboys win the superbowl
2009: Cowboys lose in the nfc championship
2010: Cowboys lose in the superbowl

In this time span they have won exactly one playoff game. Just admit your bias already.

Obvious hyperbole my ass, you were wrong and you know it. Do you think I try to hide the old threads? I post a link to them every year. And hell - last year, when I picked Dallas to lose in the NFC Championship (which, by the way, they were only 1 game away from), you still came into the thread bitching and moaning like a little girl about my bias, despite the fact that I was almost spot-on with my 2009 Cowboys predictions.

In the four years you posted, Dallas also made the playoff 3 years, won their division twice, and was the #1 NFC seed once. The one year they didn't make it, they finished 9-7 and were 1 game away from the playoffs, despite missing their starting QB for 1/4 of the season. They also lost a playoff game in 2006 on a freak last-minute fumble, and 2007 on a last-minute drop by Crayton. So while my bias (which, if you had learned how to read, I've admitted multiple times in multiple prediction threads) might cause me to push them a bit higher than they've finished, its not like I'm saying the Lions are going to win it all year in and year out.

Now, go wash the sand out of your nether regions, sport.

So basically "Well I picked a different team to BEAT my favorite team in the championship a few times so I'm definitely NOT biased"

That's fantastic, sport. That's really fantastic.

Wow, no, that's really not even close to what I said. I guess that was another prediction I was correct with - you really don't have any reading comprehension whatsoever. Sad, Kev. For you, at least.

He admits he has a bias in every thread dude. Do you even read them, or do you just shit on them after reading the title?

He even says it in his response to you.

Agreed...well, except for the Packers part. Chargers are going to win the Superbowl this year. Everyone knows this. :p

He already said in the other thread that he doesn't read them. He's still salty because in the 2006 thread, back when my predictions were a lot less detailed & objective, my prediction for the Eagles was to laugh at them. How DARE a Cowboys fan make a mocking prediction of his rival team? Apparently, he read that on the beach, and it startled him so much that he got his privates alllll full of sand, and 4 years later he still hasn't washed it out yet.
