Isn't it just a 4770K clocked higher with improved TIM/IHS & power delivery ? Good product, but nothing new architecture wise.
Try to keep a positive attitude folks, don't bite the hand that feeds 😉
Whatever the reason for the delay, surely we can't blame the hometeam for doing whatever they do with the priorities they assign to them.
Anandtech is hardly a PC site anymore.
Anandtech stopped being a PC site quite a few years ago.
Anandtech is hardly a PC site anymore. They are more busy on the new iPod colour options and stuff like that than of something like this.
They've got one or more samples of DC.Anand only does reviews if he gets free samples. Apparently he is too poor to buy review samples. So maybe intel didn't give out a freebie, like nvidia with their latest gpu.
Has it got anything to do with AMD Center? Is AMD paying AT not to release review of DC? Or is Intel not allowing AT because of AMD Center?
Based on the wholesale purchase of the Anandtech site Intel might be unwilling to give their CPUs for review to a site that so blatantly declares that its an AMD zone. I said it when when first added the AMD centre that while it might be good for cashflow it makes people question Anandtech's independence. Maybe the IHV's are asking it as well.
Yes, their damning review of the R9 290 and dim view of Kaveri are really indicators that Anandtech have sold out. :sneaky:
Seriously, this is just as utterly ridiculous as the AMD fanboys who claim that Anand is bought and sold by Intel. It's just a bit of marketing, and in no way affects Anand's integrity. Or do you think he is taking bribes from Corsair, MSI, and every other company which buys ad space on the website?
