where is a good place to buy oem xp pro?

newegg, monarch, zzf, mwave or any place that sells pc hardware. They have legit copies with COA stickers though monarch is the place i want it. You do need a piece of hardware but some places give you a small piece of hardware for free to satisfy the requirement.

I bought mine from Newegg for $140 I think. If you don't have any hardware in the order they will throw in a free power cable.

I've bought a lot of software here.
I've learned from my own bad experiences to be extremely cautious when a company sells Win XP well below what other companies do, like their XP Pro Full Retail for $189 - no big name company sells that product for even close to that, makes me wonder how this website is able to.

MS has changed their oem licensing & packaging a bit, they now ship OEM copies in a padded envelope where the product key is not visable, and as long as that envelope is sealed, you can freely sell & resell it without any bundled hardware - which is great because I have way too many power splitters & cd audio cables...

Haha. Funny thing was, I had already thrown away the bubble wrap from my copy before I realized that the COA sticker wasn't inside the packaging anywhere. Fortunately I hadn't yet dumped the trash.

I understand your concern. However, I have been purchasing software from them for close to 4 years. They are no here today, in court tomorrow outfit. In the last few years they have expanded to selling hardware also. I have called and asked questions regarding licensing and they seemed quite knowledgeable and very helpful.

That's good!

There's just so many companies out there trying to sell NFR & other forms of unlicensed software, that a bit of research is definately a good thing before jumping on the lowest prices out there.
