i generally buy them on the spot at bb or walmart. is there a better place? places with 12 for 1 deal like bmg or col. house do not have new releases... poop. cds are expensive.

http://www.deepdiscountcd.com/ (they have a deepdiscountdvd site too) ... I'm not sure if their CDs are the cheapest, but their DVDs sure are. The only downside I've noticed is their slower shipping/processing times. Some will say they've gotten it just as fast as any other place, but do you honestly think this would be true for everyone? They have to cut costs somewhere.

EDIT>>> DAMNIT St. Anger is $5 cheaper there with free shipping !?!? Screw amazon.com next time...

The best site ever. For both New and Used Cds. I have purchased hundreds of used Cds from them and never gotten a bad one.

I buy all MetallicA CDs because I personally think they deserve it. Everything else... bah... a song here and there are good... not worth $13.

Personal opinion.

I own about 800 rock/pop, 50 Celtic, 75 blues & jazz, and 100 classical.

I currently use a combination of Amazon and DeepDiscountCD. Deep is generally cheaper but with a weaker selection.

sorry for the slow reply. i just started school and i have a minimester overlapping a regular summer session. to those who replied with the implication that i should download them, i posted this topic with that in mind. there are some artists that i really like.

i run hd600's on a META42 amp off a revolution ( kernel streaming rocks... back me up foobar users ) and there is nothing better than your favorite artists in a pure wav format.

of course, there are some artists you cannot find on ogg or APE. (classical and christian contempt for example)
