I am looking for a decent deal on a big screen tv. I don't have a certain price range, but if is a good deal, I will defintely consider it.

I heard about people saying they were able to get Sears to price match some websites prices - that seems like it is some potental... anyone have any experiences?

I guess Sam's Club has decent prices on tv's? I don't have a membership, but I would purchase one to get a good deal on a tv. I am about to head to Walmart to see what prices they have over there.

Any other advice is appreciated😀

Thanks in advance.

Personally I like Ultimate Electronics....I don't know if there's one near you or not.

I don't like Circuit City because they don't carry Mitsubishi....unless that's changed.

Can't say I have ever heard of one of those. Thanks for the suggestion though.

best buy/sound advice/circuit city/cosco/sams club/rex/sears etc, go where teh sales are...

we have two 45" Mitsubushi Big screens, good brand.

http://www.onecall.com : Great prices, free freight/shipping.
I have used them for a couple major purchases [my 61in Toshiba TV (Got that for $1,600 back when Bestbuy was charging over $2,000 for a comparable model) , and my yamaha HTR 5660 reciever (spent about 60 bucks less than bestbuy's price)]

I suppose if you have a close friend or family member that warks for a major retailer such as best buy or circuit city, than it would be a good deal to buy from one of them.

Sams club has some pretty nice prices on TVs, however they typically don't have anything bigger than 47inches (at least the one by me)

OneCall.com has same price as Best Buy near me - it was one of the first places I checked out.

H.H. Gregg has a good selection, and you can talk them down on the price.

That's where I got mine.

I got a shelf system there for cheap. I guess I could go in there and try to work a deal. I have to admit, they have a great selection of big screens too - easily 3x what CC has and maybe 2x what Best Buy has.

'Round here, Fry's often has really good deals... when they clearance old models, they drop the price VERY rapidly. I've seen some rock-bottom prices on quality big screens that I would have jumped all over if I had the room for one.

Edit: also, try www.goodguys.com - they have free shipping & no sales tax on many TVs.
