Where in Vancouver?

I shall be going to Vancouver in the coming weeks, I like to know where can I shop for computer parts. Please advice.

You can pick up free copies of "the computer player" or "vancouver computes!" all over the place... they have ads for the 50 different little computer shops around town.

The largest concentration is along broadway & kingsway in east vancouver/burnaby. You can drive to 2 dozen in 2 hours getting quotes along the way.

I hate to say it, but stay away from the asian-run shops if you are not asian. The service is generally worse and if there's a problem you don't want to have to overcome the accent/cultural differences.

ATIC has some of the lowest prices in Vancouver...

I'd stay away from Atic just because of their customer service. Personally, my favourite place is Anitec.

I'd stay away from ATIC also. The one time I was there, the lady behind the counter was pratically yelling at me for wanting to buy something from them. I've heard stories from others as well regarding the hassle they have to go thru with deffective products and such.

Every time I've gone to Atic, the lady HAS yelled at me. So I don't go there anymore.

Yeah I agree... plus ATIC's store looks like a junk yard, with things lying around everywhere

But they DO have the best prices in Van area... can't argue with that...

I usually get my stuff from A-Power though... someone provided a link above already...
