Ive got an Enlight 7237, which up unitl now I though was quite roomy. Then I installed an Enermax 431w PSU, and poof! there went all that room.

Everytime I open up the case I feel like I'm being attacked by angry snakes!
I mean, come on, the ATX connector is 12' long if its a foot.

Great PSU otherwise.

lol, me too, or one of those cases with the hydraulic thingy in front......but after thinking about it, that'd get kinda annoying after a while. :\

But they're pretty well made cases, the picture doesn't do it justice. I recently went to a friend's place this weekend, and he has that hydraulic case, and his roommate had an Antec 1030. I had a hard time choosing since both were awesome. :\

I've got the 550W Enermax or whatever it is. I just stick all the spare wires under the thing that the mobo is mounted on

Just wondering about those hydraulic cases...
It says that the cover slides down at the push of a button. Does it have a button to go up as well, or do you just slide it up by hand?

Airflow doesn't look too good in those cases. I zip tie them together and tuck my wires from my 465VE on top of my CDRW drive.

You have to slide it up by hand. The main problem with the hydraulic cases is that with the door down, it restricts the airflow from the front intake fan. Although, if you're into it, they(hydraulic cases) make a great case for a modding project.

Got me an Enermax EG465P-VE 431w in a Lian Li pc60usb.

I agree that the cables are somewhat lengthy, but for the most part even though it's a mid size case, I've needed the length (I have every bay loaded w/drives).

In my application - All my EIDE, SCSI and Floppy cables are rounded though - so it makes it easier to route the power. Any extra, I just ty-wrap and tuck. Case is still clean and looks good.

So, I'd have to say that this would be an argument where I must insist that size, err, length does matter.

On the issue of length of the Enermax connectors though, I actually considered running the "12 footer" over to one of my other comps to power an extra device!

Just my 3 cents.

I just smashed all that wire ontop of my burner as that was the only place I saw that they would all fit.
Hmmm......maybe if I complain enough about it my wife will let me get that Antec....especially if she hears me using foul language around the kid.

Enermax psu is very nice and very quiet. :)
Suggest you get a couple of long cable ties and bundle the
psu output wires together. I bundled mine up and then used another
long cable tie to pull the bundle up to the case frame.
Also bundled the hd power leads.. very nice.

Do not use elastic bands, over time they break down.

Snake some of it out to your garage in case you ever have to jump start your car.

Damn, if that case had one more 5.25" bay it'd be perfect for my next project (case w/ automatically opening and closing sliding cover)
