It seems there has been an increase of arrogant a'holes added to this forum. Where did all the nice people that would answer questions and debate issues without resorting to pointing out typos? I dont know what the deal is, maybe I just got a bunch of a'holes to answer in my last post but it just seems people would rather be jerks to each other then to talk, discuss and help each other. I am not saying everyone is like this, but I have not been a member that long and when I joined people were helping each other now it seems you cant post a question without getting flamed for asking it. I dont know what the deal is, but it sucks and the new people need to move along!!!!!

Maybe someone can explain something to me. Why does AMD come out with a new chip that has a much slower FBS (Nforce 2 with only a 333 FBS) when Intel seems to be coming out with a new FBS of 800 MzH (ok maybe Intel is not coming out with it for a while but..)? Maybe I don?t understand how FBS works (how they are clocked) but isn?t the quad FBS just 4 cycles per clock cycle? And if that is true, what sets that (the speed) the chip or the mobo? I just don?t think I understand FBS enough (anyone know where there is info that explains how this all works?). Also, if Intel?s FBS is so much higher than AMD's why would anyone buy an AMD based system? Does a 333 MhZ FBS compete with a 512 mzh (or what ever the current Intel FBS is)? Anyway, maybe someone can answer some of these questions. Thanks

I'm sorry to hear that my friend, but it could be that you are just having a bad day. There are nefs that have nothing to contribute therefor they resort to nitpicking to get their post count up. But, rest assure that most ATers are conscientious contribute citizen.

what i saw on that link was you asking about data rates and such..why do facts need to be debated? People get pissed because you ask about something you could use the search button for, or google it.

I agree about this, when i first joined people were so helpful and didnt nitpick on spelling and typos....now it seems like everyones existance is to be an arrogant asshole and to start long arguements with eachother...before that was Russ's job, now everyones trying to do it.

I've *kinda* noticed this too but not to the point where it really gets to me.. although it's certainly not POSITIVE.......
 
I try to be nice, but sometimes someone or something gets under my skin and I lash out. Its called being human.
