I am in need of a 10GB 7200RPM harddrive, preferably IBM. I have searched everywhere, even went to a computer show..nada.
Does anyone know an online store that may have them? Surely not all of them ever made have been sold. I hope to pick one up for under $60

Thanks,

They've all gone to the big obsolete hardware box in the sky.
You can find something bigger for $60. Maybe you can check the clearance area at local retail stores.

large capacity hdds have come down dramatically in price making small capacity hdds uneconomic to buy or produce!

It's really a question of manufacturing costs. If the drive industry can cover 20GB with one head, then it makes no sense to make smaller drives.

the 10g HD's have thankfully followed the 2.1-3.2-6.4-9.6 and 15 Gigers. Bigger is better
