I have a comp who needed a reinstall of Win2k, and now the outlook 2000 reinitialized to a new user. I need to get those emails back. Am I SOL? Aren't those emails stored somewhere? ARGHGHGHGHG.

C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst

Make sure you can view hidden folders because Local Settings is hidden

heh obviously he didn't rename it or move it otherwise he would have known where it was or what the name was and would have searched for it :)

if you did a fresh install then you are sol, if you did a repair then your mail should be in the default outlook save area

c:/document and setting/"username"/application data/identities/"bunch of numbers"/outlook express

this is one of the folders including my address book and favorites that i copy and save before I do a clean re-install

good luck
