Where does ASUS and MSI stand

Hi all,

Compared to BFG and eVGA, where would you put ASUS and MSI in the video card market?

On most forums, all I see is BFG, EVGA, XTX and sometimes Leadtek but rarely ASUS and MSI. I once had a MSI GF3 and an ASUS FX5900 and I was quite pleased.

What are your thoughts about those brands?

Asus is top notch quality but their service is pretty much like pulling teeth

no experiance with MSi

asus is pretty damn good, but they're always damn expensive!

they do make the "rare" cards, like the dual 6800GT, or the silent 6600 with the passive cooling...

I've found that MSI and Asus would underclock their GPUs or use DDR vs. DDR3 memory vs. their counterparts. Look at the fine print, buddy. Quality aspect should all be equal.

MSI has a somewhat bad rep but I've never had a vid card from them.
Abit from what I've heard, is fine, but they always seem to cost so much more.
