I intern in the IS department at one of the largest furniture manufacturers in the US. They say someone buys a piece of our furniture every 30 seconds.

Feature Films for Families. We make 'family oriented' movies as well as distribute films made by other small production companies. Some of our more well known ones are Old Yeller, Where the Red Fern Grows, The Pistol (about Pete Maravich), Rigoletto, The ButterCream Gang... I'm just a peon who gets to pretend he doesn't know nearly as much as he does while he gets yelled at by the execs who really don't know what they're talking about... Not a great job, but it's a great company and the pay is decent.. :)

I do desktop client support (Win95, NT, 2000) and some server administration for the University I still haven't graduated from... :) Started three years ago as a student tech and have worked my way up from there... The pay is good, benefits are great, and the atmosphere is awesome! What more could you ask for? :D

bigvince,

We have internal and out sourced techs. The internals are almost as stupid as the members and they will have you do stuff that has no bearing on your problem. I work out source and get paid more than internal so I take my job seriously.

I work with bunnies, real rabbits. Rescuing them and trying to put them in a good home.
Not a paid job but a damn satisfying one :)
Otherwise, I work with the career service at my university :(

I have a question for all the web designers out there - is it fun? I can see both sides - how working with HTML and Director and such would be fun, but it could also suck. I'm trying to get into it right now, but just for fun, not a job (unless something opens up when I get out of college).
