i have lots of boxes from buying a lot of stuff. And of course no place to store them. What do you do with them? Throw them out? Store somewhere? Where? Let the cats play in them?

chuck all but a few of them. keep 2-3 small, medium and large
last winter i made a big stack in the yard and lit them on fire

if you have to build storage to store boxes, you might be hoarder

My recycle stuff goes in the boxes, and they go to the curb. I keep some small boxes, or those with interesting sizes/shapes to put gifts in.

you just put something in them, to keep the wind from blowing them away?
or to displace air to prevent dilution of your household aroma? :hmm:

No I just fill them with "tech" even if I don't have a need for them. They're in a shed in the backyard, so no household smell. ^_^

I keep the big-ticket items (AVR receiver, turntable, monitors, etc) broken down flat in my basement.

I keep them in the attic of my garage. I only keep boxes for big ticket items, or computer parts. Also stuff that I may want to sell someday in the original box.

I'll keep the boxes from electronics until the warranty runs out... I've got a cubbyhole in my walk-in closet that's about perfect for it.

but outside of that, boxes get broken down and left on the curbside on recycling day.

I keep all my boxes and their packing materials in my storage unit in the basement or in a closet. There is nothing more satisfying than putting stuff back into its original packaging for moving. Did i mention that i move A LOT?
