<< Defenitions:

Fiscal Conservative: Tax cuts for rich, smaller government, less social programs
>>

WHAT????

A fiscal conservative wants an equal percentage tax cut accross the board. It's NOT our fault the top 50% in this country pay 96% of the taxes, and the top 5% pay 55% of the taxes.

If you're going to cut any taxes, the people with more money will save more, simply because the government already rapes the sh!t out the successful.

Besides, when businesses and business owners pay high taxes, guess who they pass that cost on to? YEP, the poor who buy their products.

I'm a fast food sandwich shop owner. When the county, state or feds raise taxes, I simply raise my prices. All other businesses do the same.

This silly class envy crap needs to stop.

<-- agrees with AmusedOne

i do not like you including 'tax cuts for the rich' as part of the definition for fiscal conservative.

Based on your definitions, I'm none of the above.

Based on much broader definitions, I'm (American) Social Conservative/Fiscal Conservative. But, I want tax cuts for everybody, not just the rich.

You people have to understand that I'm coming from a Canadian point of view as far as taxes go. Obviously we would ALL like to be paying less taxes, but generally as far as tax cuts go, you can't take away when there's nothing to take from. Also, with a poll like this - obviously there have to be generalities made.

Side note: I never can understand why some people are so against giving tax breaks to people who make more money than them.

Although the amount of data is limited, isn't it interesting that (at this point) nobody in the "Canadian" or "Other" categories selected Social Conservative, but those in the "American" category are more likely to pick this than Social Liberal. Another one of America's Grand Ironies.

Hmm, don't fit clearly in any of those categories I say... so I just picked "just show me the results"

But I think I fit closest in Social Conservative/Fiscal Conservative. I'm small government, less taxes, weak Catholic, pro-life, indifferent regarding gay people. Let people live their own freakin life and if their freakin screw it over, let them bear the responsibilities. We should stop trying to support everyone we can as it is essentially impossible, nor do many want to.

Hmm, with the exception of being pro-life, your short description sounds more libertarian than it does social conservative.
