Where do you set personal options?

I am looking to adjust some of the things that display when users click my authot icon in a thread. For example, some users do not display their email address there, but on the profile mode screen, this is a mandatory field. And I can't find any right now, but it seems to me that I have seen some custom information on these screens. Some users have this option disabled - where is that set?

From the same place, which is really hard to find (at least when using firefox). I got lucky by clicking the 'Personal Options' area in what looks like the title bar of the 'profile mode' window but is actually more of a tab.

Are you making fun of Jason's(Or the artist @ Fusetalk) artistic ability?

Not at all. What's obvious to one person isn't obvious to another. The link is not underlined or anything, and is tough to see in Firefox, Mozilla, and IE. I think it's one of the few legitimate complaints I've had about fusetalk. :p

It's also the only thing that keeps me from flaming people for questions about how to get there. ;)

The official answer is that you can't, since there are ads there (nevermind the navigation, we know what really matters).

While the sidebar could most likely be made to disappear with enough CSS hacking, doing so would make the forums extremely inconvenient to navigate (how would you get to PMs? how would you jump from one forum to another without backing up to the top level first? and more...). I've learned to live with it, though the huge ads certainly are very annoying. :(
