Where do you sell your used car?

Do you trade in? Do dealers buy them back? list them online?put it on classified ad?

whats the best option in your opinion?

You'll usually get more cash from a private sale. Dealer is much easier but you'll get less. Use something like Edmunds to find out the value of the car.

Usually trade it in or give it away depending on the condition of the car.
Selling is too much hassle.

Depends on the car/ situation. I've used all the methods listed plus ebay. You get the most through selling it privately and not being in any hurry to sell it.

the car is in pretty good condition...edmunds gives a 7k trade in value

do dealers buy back used car...or i have to trade in to get a new one?

i have sold and bought cars on eb@y... bought from dealer, traded them in to dealer... put them near the road with FS sign.

i thought the easiest was eb@y

You make them responsible for shipping and have them contact DAS or pick it up.
DAS will call you and give a two hour window of when they will pick it up.
