Where do you see the people of the U.S. and of the world a decade from now?

Just asking.

I personally see another Hitler taking over somewhere, and Obama invoking the draft if he gets a 2nd term (not to deal with the new Hitler, but rather because he's Wilsonian). Another Hitler is inevitable, really.

I also see the Republic collapsing from Hyperinflation, and then being replaced with something that will set people up for hyperinflation again.

It will be probably the same thing like now: massive US deficit, global warming, and middle east issue still remaining unresolved. Your predictions were drawn from your own bias, especially the collapse of the republic.

As the economy continues to deteriorate the majority of Americans remain as baffled as ever about how to address the nation's problems. In their confusion they elect Lady Gaga president. In reaction weapons sales shoot through the roof across the country, militias begin forming in every town, and the budget of Homeland Security begins to surpass that of the military. The result is a completely revitalized American economy and a grateful Gaga goes on national television praising Americans for buying American made products and promotes her new line of camouflage fashions.

Logical, impeccably logical.

There won't be another Hitler in an industrialized, first world nation. Democracies don't go to war with one another, it's the foundation of neoconservatism. We'll continue to see dictators step outside their boundaries in smaller, third world countries and the US will continue to be at the forefront of policing them up. I'm not sure how economically sustainable that is, but that's the role we've made for ourselves so we're kinda stuck with it.

In ten years the world will be even further overpopulated and the intensity of Malthusian problems will have increased. I won't be surprised if there are more military conflicts between third world countries as they fight over diminishing resources (especially water).

As for the U.S., more of the same. A larger percentage of the populace will live in poverty and job markets will still be tight. We'll also have a larger percentage of college graduates who are unemployed and underemployed since people will have flood into the colleges in the hopes of being able to escape the rising tide of unemployment, poverty, and misery, which will just result in their being burdened by student loans. The rich will be richer and the lower classes will be poorer. The percentage of Americans who are middle class will be smaller than it is today. However, in spite of all this, Americans will still fully support free market policies and international free trade.

Based on your predictions, when are you leaving the country? When you do, also find another forum to troll. Hopefully, this happens tomorrow.

Sad but very true...
