Where do you physically keep your harddisks?

I sell old HDDs that I no longer use. I don't actually keep them anywhere.
My in use drives are all in drive bays inside my computer cases

10 drives are actively installed in 4 computers. 2 spares (cloned) are in neoprene socks in laptop travel cases. 3 externals are on desks. 3 spares are in static bags and foam boxes in the spare parts closet. 1 drive containing digital imagery of every room and item of furniture in the house is in a safe deposit box off site.

I call it "Planned Redundancy."

In encrypted form (Truecrypt is good), in anti-static bags, in waterproof containers (food containers). I keep drives at home, at work, and, and in a bank safe deposit box.
