primarily Citi. both B&M and online.

though i've got accounts also at ING, Emigrant, and VirtualBank

Right now, I've got the bulk of mine at WaMu. I am in the process of switching over to ING, however, ING's web login is sh!tty and I'm going to have to call them in order to get access to my account. It also seems that my direct deposit allotment didn't take, which angers me greatly, because I just checked the account and routing numbers.

I end up giving the finger to ING and sticking with WaMu. Sure, the interest rate isn't as good, but at least I can access the account when I need to and the money actually gets into that account.

I use ING and haven't had any issues. I would just stay with them.

Ditto, they are very easy to use and you can pull the money in a pinch.

If you can get your hands on $250 more, you can open up a Fidelity account - they're very hands-off and easy to use.
