Some might remember me from the past most probably not. But thats not why I am posting. I was posting because Id like do some distributed computing again (not as much before but everything helps, right?!). So I was wondering in what project do you need help the most? Im not gonna SETI thought... But anything else I will consider.

Best Regards,

Mardeth

Oh well... maybe pick one of the other projects that speaks to you... like UD if you have a family member with cancer... or F@H or Genome@Home to benefit pretty much all genetic related stuff... or Sengent D2OL for researching cures for diseases that may be used in biological warfare... or Distributed Folding for more disease research... visit the sticky in the DC forums and look through the list and find one that interests you.

I remember you Mardeth! Welcome back here, it's been a while!!

All projects could do with help!

I say look in the sticky up the top, and see what interests you :) My current project of choice is Seventeen or Bust, it's a nice little client, and a couple of computers here and there will help the team greatly :)

Yeah... I dunno... it would be nice if SETI actually "FOUND" something... Sure they tell you of all the hits and spikes. But it's most likly just space noise from our own planet. Anyway, I know the universe is VAST but...... Sheesh, How LONG can you go until you do find something? I mean, you'd think for all the WU crunched and time spent you'd have found something?

I'm also thinking about trying something new. Crunching seti all day and not hearing of any feedback is kinda boring. Seems like the folding teams have already made a lot of progress and even some useful stuff came from it and they haven't been around nearly as long as seti has.

Oh well... I guess we all know GOD is the alien... :)

That's nice :).

Well, I decided to give Lifemapper a chance. Ill try it for a week or so and if I like Ill continue in it.

Also, ericlp, SETI has made some progress, not in finding aliens but in some gas stuff. Im not quite sure anymore but think found something new about the gasclouds or something.

Your name sounds familiar, like I've seen you on here before, a long time ago. ;)

We could really use some help in F@H, to avoid dropping to 24th place (from 22nd, where we are now), but I'm aware that there are many other projects that are in desparate need of help to avoid falling, also. You'll just have to look at what the different projects do and decide what appeals the most to you. :)

Welcome back to AT/DC, whichever project you decide to run. :)

Ditto, welcome back.

Yes, it would be nice if an announcement of Non-Earth bound signals could be confirmed. Maybe with the new receivers and frequencies coming online soon?
