I don't back-up. Anything important enough like setup files, I put on floppy if it fits. If not, I just download it from the internet. Don't really have any files I need to guard with my life. Worse-case scenario, I just reformat -kd5-
I don't have any REALLY important data, anything like media and stuff goes on CD-Rs, as well as documents that i may have a need for later, but i have nothing all that important
porn doesn't need to be backed up. just find it again on the internet Documents/programs for school and such i hang on too. In a year or so they end up on a cd in a spindle of "past backups"... so if i ever need it, i go hunt for it.
Well, I have invaluable work data, I think I'm going to get a fire-safe media chest. I was reading up on it and the normal firesafe chests go up to 350F internal, which would melt the CDRs, the more expensive media chests keep it under 125F
