where do you keep your ID badge?

security system is finally online here and we were all given new ID cards. we were also given hooks up put it on a belt loop or around your neck, but I can't decide where to put mine

at our old office I just kept it in my wallet, but the system in this place requires the ID card to be pressed right up against the reader (whereas the cards at the old office were rfid or something, as far as I know).

I use a lanyard. If I only had to use it a couple times a day, I'd put it in my pocket but I have to use it frequently.

When I carried mine it was on my belt. They changed the readers to ones with number pads on them so I just punch in my code now. I have no idea where my badge is.

I wear a lanyard. I'd rather have one of those retractable lines. But our badges are supposed to be visible.

On the off-day I'm not wearing a shirt with a breast pocket, I will put it around my neck on a lanyard, along with my USB flash key.

I have a cat named Loki. He smells like catfood.

We're required to wear them above the waist roll: ) so I clip mine on my shirt where the two sides come together to button up. Just us a cheap plastic retractable clip with it and it works fine.

I keep mine in my wallet and my wallet in my back pocket. It takes too much effort to pull the wallet out and hold it against the scanner every time I go through a protected door so I just rub my but up against it instead. :thumbsup:

We have either the lanyards or those retractable badge pulls. I use the badge pull hooked onto the pocket of my jeans.

Ours are supposed to be visible, but I'm a rebel and just keep mine in my pocket. Lanyards are for squares.
