As a test, I just "test bought" several SATA cables and a tube of AC MX-2 at Newegg. Each item had exhorbitant shipping costs and the total shipping cost for the order realized only a net savings on shipping of $0.47. More than $25 in shipping cost for slightly less than $24 worth of items ! NE's system is hosed on this stuff for some reason ...

Tried a 2nd way ... added mobo, CPU, vid card, and HD to basket, checked shipping cost. Then added MX-2 to basket and re-checked shipping cost. Cost went up by the exact amount they list for shipping on the MX-2 alone.

It's like they wanna penalize you for ordering inexpensive items. Makes me thankful for good folks like JT, SVC, BestByte, etc.

I just ordered some stuff from Newegg. The 2nd item was $1.70 extra shipping, and the 3rd item was $1.50 extra shipping. They were all pretty small items.

If you're lucky enough to live near Fry's, I just saw they had Arctic Silver Alumina and Ceramique for $3.99. That's a dollar less than Newegg.

I'm currently using some Ceramique, but am thinking about trying some of the Tuniq TX-2 since i'm ordering some stuff from Jab-Tech anyhow.
Y'all think that stuff might be a little better than the Ceramique?
