Through my university I can buy some MS software at the educational price, but I'm quite curious to know how and where so many of you seem to get free, legal copies.

What's the secret?
 
i get a few from MS. they send me Email for them or for darn good deals on it.

only got one for Vista but did not do it. just not excited about vista.
 
I got my free copy of windows vista business from watching some webcasts. just hover on the hot deal forums every day and you will spot them when they arise.
 
Yeah, I don't know what I'm going to do w/out my educational discount. It's like WinXP Pro and Office for about $15-20 each.
