where do you guys buy cooling gear?

becareful with CRORB i had teh top pushed down a bit far and fan was not spinning and that thing got very very hot.

heavy little beast

I have a CRORB. It was way too loud for my tastes. Take the top off to quiet it down some. To make it acceptable, run it @ 7 volts.

I installed a couple of Crystal Orbs on my V5. I lapped both of them down to the copper and removed the fan guards. No complaints from me at all. The V5 runs much cooler. I didn't run them with the fan guards in place. But they aren't loud now, without them.

People have way different opinions on what is loud and what is not. In my case, the stock nVidia reference fan on my VisionTek GF3 was by far the loudest component in my system. The CRORB @ the full 5500RPM was almost as bad. Taking off the lid and slowing down the rpm with the 7V mod made it acceptable, but I can still hear it pretty well. Two of them @ full 5500 rpm would drive me insane.

You are my savior Thalasi 🙂

that store rocks!

Last time I ordered a Swiftech MC462 and other various cooling accessories, I was charged 62 CDN dollars by UPS delivery guy to cover customs and all their bullsh!t :| :| :| :| :| :| :| :| :| :|

No more orderiong from the US for me 🙂

My friend once told me about this one site where you can listen to how loud the fans are on the hsf before purchasing it, do you people happen to know what this site is?
