where do YOU go to buy plane tickets?

My friends and I are looking to take a plane trip either to Vegas, NY, or Cancun, but what's a good site you guys recommend to look for ticket prices?

i buy directly from airline sites (america west i guess) and Orbitz. IMHO travelocity is crap, the customer service is suck from my experience, so i would stay away from them. Expedia isn't bad. all those services use the same search function anyway though...don't go to a travel agent, cause they get the same deals online that you can from home.

Call SWA straight...best prices for the leg I do...
For vacations, I use travelocity

I never buy only from one website I compare prices between local travel agents, online and 800 wholesale sales.

I've found some all inclusive air/hotel package deals to Cancun starting at $799 from alaskaair.com

I go to expedia.com to find the cheapest flights listed there, then I go to that Airlines web site to actually order the tickets. I do this because I have a frequent flier account with about every airline and you usually get bonus miles for ordering from their site.

i write down the flight numbers, and book directly with the airline

i check travelocity or expedia and then call two travel agents. for my trip to europe last summer, my travel agent came up with a way cheaper ticket than i could find online. i was shocked. if youre a student or teacher, check out sta.com and counciltravel.com. both have awesome prices. good luck.
