Where do you go on the net for the latest movie trailers?

Sure they don't tell you much about how good a movie is going to be, they are an art form unto themselves almost and these guys can turn the worst pile of crap into something that looks promising as hell. But I still find them fun to watch for the heck of it. I always go to Apple's trailer page but would like some other sites.

google + movie name + "trailer"

That assumes you know the movie name. I like to just watch all the latest trailers for all the movies coming out to see if anything looks interesting. This plus IMDB and rottentomatoes is usually how I pick out the films I want to see.

Usually I find I weed out maybe a 1/3 of the films I know I don't want to watch from the trailers then most of the rest get weeded out when looking them up at IMDB or rottentomatoes. What's left I add to my "too see" list.

Nowhere. Trailers give away too much nowadays. I'd rather be surprised by the big twists in dramas and major jokes in comedies.

Ahh thanks. Yeah I don't like Apple personally but like I posted above I like to weed through all the new trailers looking for good stuff.

You do something similar?

I generally don't watch trailers too much anymore, unless I am really on a fence about a movie. Like joshsquall, I find they give too much away in the trailers these days. You will often see me with my fingers in my ears and my eyes closed when sitting through the trailers in a theatre.

If I'm looking to just watch high quality, I go to Apple for their HDs. If I'm looking for a specific title, Google title + "trailer".

True for some films I'll agree.

But the best of films, like the best of any artistic medium, is hard to ruin by exposing the plot or certain scenes or jokes. Good films are about the experience as a whole and as such you really can't give it away in a 2 min trailer.

Absolutely, it's mainly the bigger, less complex movies this is a problem with.

Apple or Youtube

Do you really find Youtube to be good for trailers?

If I know the name of the movie, Youtube is the first place I look. I hate Quicktime and don't care about the video quality. If I just want to watch a bunch of trailers for movies I may not have heard of, I watch them on my AppleTV.
